Munich-based leather goods brand MCM had enjoyed a degree of fame in the 1980s. Twenty years on, its new Korean owner asked us to help reinvigorate the company.

In tandem with star designer Michael Michalsky, the man who helped Adidas get back its energy, we devised a new store concept complete with bespoke furniture. As with many of the best ideas, ours began with a simple sketch. This raw concept proved so popular it became a finished store in a little over three months.
