KJUS Pop Up Zurich

Location: Zurich

Task: Design and Design Development

In 2017, the toy store Franz Carl Weber moved out of Bahnhofstrasse, leaving behind a generous space in a prime location. The sportswear brand KJUS, founded by Norwegian ski racer Lasse Kjus and a Swiss entrepreneur, seized the opportunity to fill the almost 450 m2 retail space with a pop-up store.

In a short time frame, MACH developed a pop-up concept that gave customers an exciting overview as well as a deeper look into the Kjus universe of skiing and golfing products. The diagonal elements of the retail design reflected the distinctive K brand logo. The staggered display cubes made of light wood structured the large space and formed individual highlights. A large podium in the center served as a stage for special events such as a live performance by ski racer and brand ambassador Didier Cuche.
