Airline ticket counters are not usually relaxing places. For the redesign of SWISS's main ticket counters in Zurich, New York and Tokyo, MACH developed spaces that would have a positive impact on the mood of passengers. At the heart of the design was a new acoustic concept- wooden wall panels with a Swiss cross pattern that creates a pleasant acoustic environment. In addition to its decorative effect, this element lends to the atmosphere of an upscale library.
