Baume & Mercier Watches & Wonders Geneva 2026

Location: Geneva

Task: Design, Design Development and Construction Documents

Collaboration: HilP GmbH, Zurich (Booth Construction), Ponctuelle light design, Paris (Lighting Design)

For the 2026 edition of Watches & Wonders, Baume & Mercier marks a new chapter centred on the notion of Moments — personal, emotional and intimate — and on the idea of “Inner Time”: time as it is felt rather than measured. With the introduction of Joia, the new collection dedicated to women, the concept celebrates self-expression, elegance and quiet intensity.

Developed in close collaboration with the Baume & Mercier creative team, MACH evolved the architectural concept of the booth, building on the spatial language established in the previous edition while introducing a new central exhibition installation. The overall architectural approach remains consistent, ensuring continuity with the brand’s established presence.

At the heart of the space, a circular composition of suspended golden lamellas with mirrored surfaces gently animates the environment, forming a permeable filter around the area dedicated to the new collection. The installation appears to float effortlessly, evoking the fleeting and precious nature of meaningful moments. Surrounding this centrepiece, suspended display elements inspired by Baume & Mercier’s characteristic watch geometries present the timepieces in an open and approachable setting, encouraging close engagement with the products.

A refined palette of warm champagne and soft beige tones, accented by delicate gold details, contrasts with the deep blue environment of the exhibition hall, creating an atmosphere of understated elegance and depth. Rooted in Baume & Mercier’s watchmaking philosophy — the balance of design, craftsmanship and emotion — the booth defines a calm and expressive environment, inviting visitors to pause and reconnect with their own perception of time.
