Location: Milan
Task: Design
Simply knocking down walls is not the only way to redesign a space. That was MACH's view when Swiss luxury sports and casual wear brand Jet Set wanted to add a modern touch to its showroom in Milan.
Since Italy's fashion capital already boasts plenty of bling-bling, MACH went for a sleek solution as a contrasting focal point. For this, a series of wooden screens were designed with an interlocking motif reminiscent of a fabric structure. The screens are attached to ceiling tracks so they can be easily moved to change the look and feel of the showroom at any time. MACH commissioned the finest carpenters who crafted the screens from stained American oak. Top-notch Swiss craftsmanship proves that it doesn't take diamonds to shine.
