Over 65 million passengers travel across Ontario using trains and buses run by GO, a division of Metrolinx. The arrival of a new fleet of cutting-edge train cars gave us the exciting opportunity to devise an interiors concept to match.

Fabrics were our main focus. Instead of treating seat covers as a functional afterthought, we turned them into brand ambassadors by creating a cloth pattern based on the GO logo designed by Winkreative.  To make the seats even more impactful, subtle materials and soft colours were used on wall panels, fixtures and floors. Locally sourced light maple wood, a signature feature of GO railway stations, was introduced to link carriages to the whole transport network – and Ontario’s natural surroundings.
