Over 65 million passengers across Ontario use the trains and buses operated by GO, a branch of Metrolinx. With the delivery of a new fleet of state-of-the-art train cars, MACH had an exciting opportunity to develop a corresponding interior concept.

The main focus was on the fabrics. The seat covers were not to be purely functional elements of secondary importance, but were to become brand ambassadors, for which MACH equipped them with a fabric pattern based on the GO logo, designed by the agency Winkreative. The seats were given even more impact by the subtle materials and soft colors of the wall coverings, holding devices and floors. The light maple wood sourced from native forests, one of the trademarks of GO stations, helped each train blend in as perfectly with the transportation network as it does with the Ontario landscape.
