Helvetica Head Office Zurich 2nd Floor

Location: Zurich

Task: Design, Design- and Construction Document, Implementation

Collaboration: Aebischer & Bovigny, Lausanne

MACH was contracted to install new offices at Brandschenkenstrasse in Zurich for Helvetica Property Management. As a native Norwegian, the company founder grew up surrounded by Scandinavian design, hence the objective was to marry these design aesthetics with Swiss details.

The arrival zone is furnished with several mobile benches. The open space can be used for lectures, as a waiting area, or as a meeting space, depending on need. It can also be separated from the rest of the office with an acoustic curtain.

In the center of the space are the meeting rooms, which are acoustically separated with large glass panels and can be further privatized with a curtain.

All workstations are height-adjustable and create room clusters, each with two tables. This overarching structure generates visual tranquility. Integrated textile elements have a positive effect on the acoustics of the room. The different carpet colors create a division between lounge and circulation zones.

The property is characterized by a long bay window, under which MACH integrated a long bench. This creates an additional lounge area that can be used by all employees. MACH designed all tables and benches specifically for this project. The furniture can be ordered through MACH.
