Trunk Boutique Zurich

The design for Zurich's Trunk store features a thoughtful and efficient use of existing space. Trunk means "suitcase." Based on the classic travel suitcase, a wooden spatial sculpture combines the functions of a cash register, a changing room, a cupboard and a hinged triple mirror. A large display table with two tiers showcases accessories from around the world. The mix of oak wood with dark vintage furniture, a sisal floor and dark green fabrics creates a warm, homey atmosphere. The "Porter" shelving system already designed by MACH for the London stores was also used here. Exclusively for the Zurich boutique, MACH developed a flexible wooden wall with shelves that can always be rearranged to showcase current highlights.
